Early Life
Sangre was born in Boston, MA in December of 1984 and had a rough childhood growing up, as he never met his father and his mother was never around due to work. This led for him to have to fend for himself a lot growing up in the inner city, and left him without guidance to teach him the difference between right and wrong. At the age of 12, he discovered his love of wrestling and at age 14 he and his friends built a ring that they did backyard wrestling in. In school, Sangre had a reputation as being somewhat troubled and was suspended numerous time for getting into fights. Eventually when he turned 18 he decided to move to Mexico in order to train to fulfill his goal of becoming a wrestler.
Training
Once he arrived in Mexico with just a dream and not much money to his name, he found his way to a little known wrestling school in the mountains outside of Mexico City called El Diablo Wrestling School. Not many people knew of it's existence, but it was ran by a prominent former Lucha star and many of the top Luchadors had spent time training there. The training regimen was intense and brutal, and some students broke down and cracked under the pressure. They slept on mats in disgusting dingy quarters and often trained for 20 hours a day, running for miles, lifting weights, and practicing the in ring fundamentals until they were perfected. After two years of hard work, Sangre had accumalated the knowledge and work ethic he needed to start his career and left the school.
Early Career
Sangre returned to the Boston area after training, and began to make a name for himself on the local Indy scene. He made a name for himself with a ruthless in ring style, and a mean streak that included a love for making his opponents bleed. He eventually earned a shot at a regional title, and scored the biggest win of his Indy career, upsetting a high flying Jamaican star that was a huge star on the Boston indy scene in a match where he debuted his signature Sangre Slam. He held the title for 6 months, going undefeated in that span until he caught the eye of 3CW Owner Lizard King, who gave him his first contract with a National company.
